I'm the owner, chef, baker, and heart behind A Degree Above Bakery & Chef Services.

I started A Degree Above in my parents' kitchen back in 2019 as an entirely gluten-free bakery, creating cakes, cookies, pies, and desserts made with love. Since then, life has been full of beautiful twists and turns—career changes, moving, becoming a mama again, and discovering an even deeper passion for nourishing people through food.

Today, A Degree Above has grown into something so much bigger than I ever imagined.

Alongside my desserts, I now offer organic-focused, chef-prepared weekly meals because I believe food should not only taste incredible, but help make life feel a little lighter.

I'm also a proud boy mom to two amazing little humans who completely have my heart. They are my greatest inspiration and the reason I understand just how valuable time around the dinner table truly is.

When I cook for my clients, I cook exactly the way I cook for my own family.

There are no shortcuts.
No cutting corners.
No sacrificing quality.

Every ingredient is intentionally chosen, with an emphasis on organic-focused, locally sourced, high-quality ingredients you can trust. Because if I wouldn't proudly serve it to my own family, I won't serve it to yours.

But if I'm being honest...

My passion has never been just the food.

It's the experience.

I'm incredibly detail-oriented, and I genuinely believe personalization is becoming a lost art.

Every order that leaves my kitchen is thoughtfully prepared with little touches that simply make people feel cared for. Handwritten notes. Personalized letters. Encouraging quotes. Thoughtful packaging. Small details that take extra time—but matter.

I don't charge extra for those things because, to me, they aren't extras.

They're simply how hospitality should feel.

I believe people deserve to feel seen.

I believe kindness belongs in business.

I believe community is built one conversation, one meal, and one thoughtful gesture at a time.

My goal isn't just to help answer the daily question of "What's for dinner?"

It's to give you back a little time.

A little peace.

A little breathing room.

Because as a mom, I know how much those things matter.

Everything I create is rooted in one simple question:

"Would this make my own family's life easier, healthier, and happier?"

If the answer is yes, then I know I'm creating something worth sharing.

To every family who has ordered a cake, trusted me with dinner, celebrated milestones with my desserts, recommended my business, or simply encouraged me along the way...
